01. Recent Post Allied Green Ammonia Joins the German-Australian Hydrogen Alliance
We are proud to announce that Allied Green Ammonia is now officially a member of the German-Australian Hydrogen Alliance. This partnership marks a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering sustainable energy solutions through green ammonia. As we work together with international stakeholders, we aim to drive innovation and leadership in the global hydrogen market. ALLIED GREEN AMMONIA (AGA) is an Australian Company registered with ASIC to design, develop, construct, own, and operate a GREEN AMMONIA production facility (the “Project”) in the Northern Territory, Australia.
Green Ammonia products are taking off around the globe. This technology is based on hydrogen generation through a chemical process known as electrolysis. This method uses an electrical current to separate the hydrogen from the oxygen in the water. This fuel plays a vital role in decarbonizing hard-to-electrify sectors of the economy, such as long-haul trucking, aviation, shipping, and heavy industries.
02. Recent Post GOVE GOES GREEN
A multi-billion-dollar Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia Plant could create thousands of jobs in a remote northern Territory township still reeling from the shock of a refinery shutdown.
Howard Smith and Alister Trier from the NT Government, Alfred Benedict from Allied Green Ammonia, Klaus Helms from Gumatj Corporation, and Emir Aziz from Allied Green Ammonia signed the agreement at NT Resources Week.
Gumatj chief executive Klaus Helms says the announcement demonstrates that there is economic life in Gove after Rio Tinto’s mine shuts by the end of the decade.
