ASSESS A PROJECT’S VALUE THROUGH ITS CARBON FOOTPRINT
We let science be our guiding light to significantly reduce our own emissions (scopes 1 and 2) and transform our value chain (scope 3) to contribute to a Net Zero world. We can therefore better structure our approach and prioritize the actions that will generate the most impact. This strategy is composed of three ambitions:
→ Decarbonize our operations by reducing our GHG emissions
→ Enable our partners and clients to transition to a low-carbon economy
→ Accelerate the transition by going beyond demand and increasing carbon sinks
MAXIMIZE THE LIFESPAN OF GOODS AND MATERIALS
To encourage the circularity of goods and materials, our strategy relies on reducing our resource consumption and protecting the ecosystems that generate them, as well as reusing, recycling, or reconsidering the value of existing materials. To ensure that our strategy is reflected throughout our value chain, we focus on two ambitions:
→ Account for residual materials to better manage them
→ Integrate circular economy principles into our procurement processes

In hopes of contributing to reconciliation, we recognize the importance of fostering self-determination, namely socio-economic self-determination, for Indigenous peoples. In 2021, we adopted a strategy to cultivate intentional, respectful, and responsive business relations with Indigenous peoples. In doing so, we followed a guiding ambition:
