Empowering leadership is one of the core values at Allied Green Ammonia (AGA), and we believe in fostering leadership skills at every level of our team in our organization. For us, leadership is all about assisting our stakeholders to achieve great results and exceed their goals and expectations. There are mainly three ways in which the members at AGA establish a high level of leadership qualities: by assisting our stakeholders in addressing their challenges; being entrepreneurs; and continuously developing our knowledge and skills in our line of business.

ALFRED BENEDICT
Chairman & Managing Director
Alfred Benedict is the founding Chairman of ALLIED GREEN AMMONIA (AGA). Having been involved in several energy projects with top oil majors, traders, and consultants worldwide, Alfred has extensive knowledge about the energy industry and its operations. With substantial experience, Alfred has been an active participant in energy since 1990. After holding various management and leadership roles in the energy sector for the past two decades, he possesses an abounding knowledge about the national and international business community.
Alfred acquired a broad vision for developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals by maintaining positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities. Alfred’s Mechanical Engineering background has also been utilized to assist other organizations on major construction engineering projects internationally.
Alfred is a mechanical engineer with 32 years of experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and renewable energy industries. Working in over 20 countries in different management roles brings a wide range of experience and knowledge to AGA’s project in Australia’s Northern Territory.

Chief executive officer
Emir Aziz is the founding Chief Executive Officer of ALLIED GREEN AMMONIA (AGA). Emir is an experienced Chief Executive Officer and has held several professional directorships and advisory positions in oil & gas, energy, and mining for more than 15 years. Emir was responsible for all commercial and contractual matters relating to Australia and the Middle East projects. Skilled in negotiation, petroleum, business planning, and coaching, Emir has many international contacts and relationships developed over many years. He takes on many varied assignments, either for clients or as a principal.
He is also the Aescon Engineering Pty. Limited CEO in Perth, Australia. Emir’s expertise covers mineral processing, business development, detailed engineering design, operations management, project development, and project management. Emir was responsible for all commercial and contractual matters relating to Australia and the Middle East projects. Competent to lead or work in a team to manage significant energy projects with a successful financial model and good results for the stakeholders.
Emir holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree with more than 15 years of professional directorships and advisory positions in oil & gas, energy, and mining, especially refineries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Australia. Emir brings a wide range of experience and knowledge to the Allied Green Ammonia (AGA) project in Australia’s Northern Territory.
